Founder's Story
When I first tried ChatGPT, I immediately fell in love with the concept of Large Language Models and realised how much they can help people both in everyday life and professional field, when used smartly. I became - and still is - a devoted ChatGPT user (Claude, I love you too!), doing researches, analysys, evaluating ideas, discovering new fields of human knowledge, also vibe-coding small microservices, such as Telegram bot with tips and knowledge base for ADHD people, and even creating my own Neural Network.
Soon my conversations and projects inside ChatGPT became very large and I realised that I literally struggle to navigate and find a particular responce in the middle of the chat. Sometimes it took ages to scroll up and down towards a lost key point or to find the right message. I am aware (and even a big fan) of a 'zero interface' concept and I believe global software moves inevitably towards it. That's why such tool as Kity serves crucial mission: it minimizes people's efforts and boosts speed incredibly while interacting or working with ChatGPT webpage.
I created this extention in the first place just for my own use, because I love optimizing all my working processes (work smart, not hard). Then I thought, would not it be truly fantastic if all people on Earth could use this tool as well? Besides, there is a big health issue related to an extensive computer mouse using. It causes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which I suffered severely probably since my twenties, as I worked a lot using professional music software these days. With Kity I don't feel pain in my wrist anymore, as I barely use or not use the mouse at all.
There are still hundreds of software and other web sites with poor or unimplemented keyboard navigation, but Kity 'grows' and hopefully we might be able to offer people something regarding universal navigation solution soon!
I believe navigation through user's interface should be seamless, fast, and simple. Computers are made for people, not vice versa!

How it works
FAQs
Click on 'Install for Chrome' (or just find Kity on Chrome Extentions Market) and turn the extention on. Then reload your current ChatGPT page. That's it. Enjoy!
No, Kity does not see your conversations. It deals only with webpage DOM-structure, which is visible to any software by default. So, it sees ChatGPT page elements as 'main pane', 'side bar','user's request' and so on. Kity can not dive into and read your data at all. You are 100% safe and secure! More about privacy here
No, not at all. Kity is a very lightweight extention (just around 100Kb!).
Absolutely! We are open to any donations and collaborations. Just drop us a line and we will get in touch as soon as possible.
1. Toggle Pane Focus: Ctrl+Right/Left (switches focus between the central chat pane and the left sidebar, even if cursor focused on input field)
2. Smooth Scrolling: Ctrl+Up/Down (provides fast, smooth scrolling through the chat or sidebar content)
3. Intelligent Copy: Ctrl+C (copies text and canvas under the cursor vertical axis)
4. User's Requests Navigation: Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down (jumps between user's messages, skipping AI outputs)
5. Jump to the first/last message: Ctrl+A/Z (goes straight to the very start/end of the conversation)
